Over $15,000 Raised at First Ever Farm to Table Dinner

What a beautiful night we had at our Farm to Table Dinner on November 12, 2022! 70 honored guests came together for delicious food, lovely music, and fellowship at our own Schweiger Hall. Guest chef André Marrero along with Scott Riches, Dean Stichbury, Cat Lines, Amy Finney and the Camp Herrlich staff made it a night to remember.

Chef André Marrero, (@chefandremarrero on Instagram), is currently the owner/chocolate maker at Nantucket Faraway Chocolate, the only bean to bar chocolate company on Nantucket Island. Classically trained at The French Culinary Institute in New York City, Chef André went on to cook in some of New York’s leading restaurants–DB Bistro Moderne, Jean- George’s Perry Street Restaurant, and L’Atelier de Joel Robuchon in the Four Seasons Hotel. In 2012, Chef André helped open 54 Below in NYC, as the Executive Chef, to critical acclaim.

Additionally, Chef André was honored to be selected as Guest Chef at the prestigious James Beard House and was a winner on The Food Network’s cooking competition, Chopped. Currently Chef André lives on Nantucket Island in Massachusetts with his wife Erica, his kids Chloe and Oliver, and their dog Chewbacca (Chewie).
