Facebook Fundraisers

Doing a Facebook Fundraiser? Consider Camp Herrlich! You can set up your Facebook Fundraiser to help us do the following. When you set it up, Facebook asks you “What is your fundraising target” and “Why are you raising money?” Consider copying and pasting the following:

Potential fundraising targets: A YoGiBo mini is $139, a max is $259 and there are some in the middle! The WHY: “Our Campers need a quiet reading space, they love to read! Help us set up a Library in our Matt Lamb Memorial Hall including beanbag chairs, new shelves, and things to make the space cozy.”
Potential fundraising target: Anywhere from $50-$5000. The WHY: “Help our campers reach new heights at Camp! High ropes elements help our campers and staff challenge themselves physically and mentally. They learn all about their potential when they are 40 feet above the ground. We want to extend our high ropes course to include a leap of faith, a catwalk, a burma bridge, and more to really help our campers grow.”
Potential fundraising target: $50-$80,000. The WHY: “So many of our campers love to express themselves through the arts and we plan to build a new Performing Arts Pavilion to help the reach their full potential through the performing arts. This project includes a stage, two awesome wing/classroom spaces, gorgeous landscaped tiered seating, and more. We need funding to build the pavilion, do the landscaping, and outfit the lighting and sound technology. We HAVE almost half of what we need for this, we still need about $80,000.”
Potential fundraising target: $200 and up. A new computer can be up to $1500, a new iPad could be $250, a GoPro is $200. The WHY: “Technology gets SO beat up here at Camp Herrlich! We love to take pictures and have our campers create videos and art using technology, but let’s be honest… We’re a CAMP! So things get dirty and broken pretty easily. Our cameras, computers, and iPads are all getting VERY out of date and we could really use some new ones. You can help!”
